Malibu manufactures inboard wakeboard, wakesurf, and ski boats ranging from 21 to 25 feet. Founded in 1982, the company produces tournament-level watersports boats including the Wakesetter series, M-Series, and Malibu Response models. All boats feature Malibu Monsoon engines with direct-drive or Malibu Wedge hull systems and Power Wedge III technology.
Wakesetter models (22 MXZ, 23 LSV, 24 MXZ, 25 LSV) include Surf Gate technology, integrated ballast systems with capacities from 3,100 to 4,400 pounds, and G4 tower packages. M-Series boats (M220, M235, M240) feature Malibu Command Center touchscreen controls, premium audio systems, and customizable surf wave settings. Response models include the TXi for slalom skiing with tournament-certified flat wakes.
Malibu competes with Mastercraft, Nautique (Correct Craft), Centurion, and Axis in the premium tournament watersports market. Construction includes composite hulls, integrated swim platforms, and tower-mounted board racks. The brand targets competitive wakeboarders, professional wakesurfers, and tournament skiers requiring advanced ballast systems and wave-shaping technology.
